Each year on the 26th of January, the Republic Day celebrations comprise various tableaux which display India’s military might, cultural diversity, economic strength and achievements in science and technology. This year too, as many as 23 tableaux will make the Republic Day parade colourful and enchanting.

From among the Northeastern states, three tableaux will depict the culture and diversity of the region. These are from the state of Sikkim (above), Assam (below) and Tripura.

Other state tableaux include those from Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa and Punjab. In addition, a few Ministries will also be showcasing their work through this medium.
