NE Greens is a project of the ‘Green Media Programme’ of the Delhi Greens organization, launched as a unique portal for the North East India region, a first-of-its-kind green media initiative towards generating environmental awareness in the North East as well as other parts of the country. Our Green Media team consists of talented and committed professionals with shared values and tremendous experience.

Delhi Greens is looking for exceptionally talented candidates for the below mentioned position in the NE Greens project. We are looking for dynamic individuals who are excited about participating in bringing a green change  and in working for the cause of nation building in the North East Region.

LAST Updated: 21, March 2011 – Total 3 positions

POSITION: Research Assistants on an Internship basis (Two openings)

Location: 2 in New Delhi, India (80% of the work online)

Duration: Three months (extensible to another three months of paid internship)

Qualifications and Experience: Pursuing/ passed a Master in Environmental Studies/ Science/ Management or allied subjects. Demonstrated experience of a research based outlook and passion for environment. Hands on experience of New & Social media will be add on. Candidate should have a computer/ laptop and an Internet connection.

Role Description:

  • Data collection/ validation and analysis
  • Report writing and analysis
  • Copy writing and content generation

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Organisation and assimilation skills
  • Presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic web skills

POSITION: Project Co-Coordinator on an Internship basis (One opening)

Location: 1 in New Delhi/ Online

Duration: Three months (extensible to another three months of paid internship)

Qualifications: Pursuing/ passed graduation in any discipline with a demonstrated experience of leadership and team work. Those willing to learn and be a part of an ongoing live project are welcome to apply.

Role Description: The selected candidate will work with the Project Coordinator of the NE Greens project and will be responsible for the overall development and outreach of the project. On the job training will be provided.
