The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER), Dr. Jitendra Singh recently announced a new direct daily air flight from Delhi to Dimapur in Nagaland via Kolkata and back along the same route.

The flights will be operational from 15th April 2015 onwards, in addition to another daily flight from Kolkata to Silchar and back which was resumed from 20th of March, 2015.
